Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you voluntarily give us through one of the forms on this site. We do not require an account and we do not collect anything in the background.

Through the quote form

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address, if you choose to give one — it is optional
• Your town or city, and your property address if you provide it, so we can find the roof and quote it
• Any details or photos about your roof that you choose to share — roof age, where the leak is, the material you are considering, and so on

Through the careers form

• Your name, phone number and email address
• The town you are based in
• Your roofing experience, working-at-heights certification status, specialties and transportation
• A résumé or other file, if you choose to attach one

If you call, text or email us directly instead of using a form, we hold whatever you tell us in that conversation for the same purposes and under the same rules set out below.

2. How we use your information

We operate under a strict purpose-limited data policy. The information you submit through the quote form is used only to give you a quote and, if you go ahead, to carry out and follow up on the work. Information you submit through the careers form is used only to assess your application and get back to you about it.

• No marketing. Your email address and phone number are never used for unsolicited marketing, newsletters or promotional campaigns.
• No selling or renting. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with third-party marketers.
• No profiling. We do not build an advertising profile of you and we do not use your information to target you elsewhere on the web.

3. Website analytics and tracking

This is a deliberately quiet website. There is no Meta Pixel, no Google Analytics, no Google Ads conversion tag, and no advertising or behavioural tracking of any kind. We do not follow your activity across other websites.

Three things on this site do involve an outside company, and here is exactly what each one does:

• Google Fonts. The typefaces used on this site are served by Google. Loading a page requests those font files, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers and, as with any web request, your IP address is visible to them in doing so. No cookie is set and nothing identifies you by name.
• Google Search Console. This monitors our website’s technical health and search performance. It works from anonymous, aggregated data — such as which search terms bring people to our site — and does not collect anything that identifies you personally.
• YouTube videos. The drone footage on our homepage does not load until you click play. Until you do, YouTube receives nothing. Once you click, the video is served through youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and Google’s own privacy policy applies to that playback.

4. Third-party service providers

Your form submission is transmitted securely to us. We only share your data with trusted infrastructure providers — our website host, Netlify, which processes the form submission, and our email provider, which delivers it — strictly so your request reaches the owners. These providers are contractually and legally bound to keep your data secure, and none of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes.

5. Data retention and safeguards

We retain your contact details only for as long as necessary to fulfill your quote request, or to manage the resulting business relationship if you hire us. If you do not go ahead with our services, your information is securely deleted. Résumés from applicants we do not hire are deleted once the position is filled, unless you ask us to keep yours on file.

This site uses industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption, so your data is protected in transit.

6. Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request corrections to any inaccuracies
• Request that we delete your information from our systems

We will respond to any of these requests within 30 days. There is no charge, and asking will not affect any quote or work in progress.
